The event staff is pleased to inform you that the 4th annual Trick or Treat Trail Run will be Saturday, October 27th, 2012 @ 10:00 A.M. The trail run will include a 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run. Both events will take place at Pasley Park on the bike path along the scenic Big Sioux River. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome.
With over 700 entrants in 2011, this year’s Trick or Treat Trail Run will have Chip Timing for both events. Timing and results by Race Place Chip Timing. Chip Timing with disposable chips will be used.

- 5 Km Certification Code – SD12001CM
- 10 Km Certification Code – SD12002CM
Both the 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run will be an out and back from Pasley Park with both events running South towards Yankton Trail… STAGGERED START…. You never leave the bike trail !! This year the 5 K Run/Walk will be run to the South with a turn around just past Spencer Park. The 10 K will also run South with a turn around on the West end of Yankton Trail Park.

Costume Judging: Costume judging will take place at Pasley Park next to the registration table inside the haunted house!! Costume judging will take place from 7:30 – 9:15 a.m. – Please arrive early!!!!!
Costume Contest Rules:
- You must be a registered participant and complete the race event in your costume to be eligible for prizes.
- Team and Couples must come to the judging table together to be eligible.
- If you are a Team, you must have a team name. We will use this name for judging.
- You must have a race number visible to be eligible for the Costume Contest.
- Please keep your race bib number on for winner announcements.
- You must be present at the awards ceremony to win a prize

Packet pick-up will be at the Runner’s Block (NW corner of 57th St. and Louise Ave.) on Friday, October 26, 2012 from 10A.M. – 7 P.M. Packet pick-up will also be available the morning of the race from 8-9:15 A.M. at Pasley Park under the shelter.
Free long sleeve t-shirts guaranteed to all participants registered by October 21st, 2012. Free event t-shirts are NOT guaranteed if registered after October 21st.
Registration will also take place at the Runner’s Block Friday, October 26th, from 10A.M. – 7:00 P.M. Registration will also take place on the morning of the race from 8-9:15 A.M. at Pasley Park.
